Snow White and the Seven Little Friends

A sweet baby princess was born, with skin as white as snow and lips as red as a rose. Her parents, the King and Queen, loved her very much. They named her Snow White.

Snow White's mother passed away, and her father married a new queen. This new queen was very beautiful but also very vain and unkind. She wanted to be the fairest of all.

Every day, the Queen would ask her magical mirror, "Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?" The mirror always answered, "You, my Queen, are the fairest of all."

As Snow White grew older, she became even more beautiful. One day, the mirror answered differently. "Snow White, my Queen, is the fairest of them all."

The Queen was furious! She called a kind huntsman and ordered him to take Snow White deep into the forest. She told him to never bring Snow White back.

The huntsman took Snow White into the quiet woods. He could not bring himself to hurt her, for she was so sweet and innocent. He told her to run far away and never return.

Snow White ran and ran through the dark, tall trees. She was very frightened and alone. Her heart thumped like a drum.

After a long time, she saw a tiny light flickering through the trees. It was a very small, cute cottage! She felt a little hope.

She gently pushed the door open and peeked inside. Everything was tiny! There were seven little beds and a small, messy table with seven little plates.

Snow White decided to clean the messy cottage. She swept the floor and washed the dishes. After all her hard work, she felt very sleepy and lay down on one of the tiny beds, falling fast asleep.

As evening came, the seven little dwarfs returned home from their mine. They were tired from a long day of digging for gems. They sang a happy song as they walked.

They found their cottage sparkling clean! Then, they saw Snow White asleep in their beds. They were very surprised to see a beautiful girl there.

Snow White woke up and told them her story. The kind dwarfs welcomed her to stay with them. They were happy to have a friend.

Snow White lived happily in the cottage. She cooked delicious meals and kept the house tidy. The dwarfs loved her very much, and they all became great friends.

Back at the castle, the Queen asked her magic mirror again, "Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?" The mirror replied, "Snow White, living with the seven dwarfs, is still the fairest of all."

The Queen was enraged! She disguised herself as an old peddler woman, putting on a cloak and hood. She prepared a shiny, red apple, poisoned with a sleeping spell.

The disguised Queen went to the dwarfs' cottage. She offered Snow White the beautiful apple. "Just one bite, my dear," she said with a fake smile.

Snow White took a bite of the delicious-looking apple. Instantly, she fell into a deep, magic sleep. She lay still, like she was dreaming.

The dwarfs found Snow White and were heartbroken. They cried for their dear friend. They built a beautiful glass coffin and placed her inside, hoping she would one day wake up.

One day, a kind prince rode through the forest and saw Snow White. He was so moved by her beauty that he gently kissed her forehead. The magic spell broke, and Snow White opened her eyes! Everyone rejoiced, and Snow White and the Prince lived happily ever after.
