Snowdrop and the Seven Little Friends

Once upon a time, a kind Queen wished for a child with skin as white as snow, lips as red as blood, and hair as black as ebony. Her wish came true, and she gave birth to a beautiful princess.

The little princess, named Snowdrop, brought immense joy to the kingdom. She was cherished by all for her gentle spirit and radiant beauty, growing more lovely each day.

Sadly, the good Queen passed away, leaving the King heartbroken. Soon after, the King married a new Queen, who was beautiful but vain and wicked.

This new Queen possessed a magical mirror. Every day, she would ask, "Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?"

For years, the mirror always replied, "You, my Queen, are the fairest of them all." The Queen would smile, satisfied with its answer.

But as Snowdrop grew, her beauty blossomed, surpassing even the Queen's. Her kindness shone through, making her truly radiant.

One day, the Queen asked her mirror the usual question. The mirror replied, "Queen, you are lovely, it is true, but Snowdrop is a thousand times fairer than you."

The wicked Queen's face twisted with rage and jealousy. She could not bear the thought of anyone being more beautiful than her.

In her fury, the Queen summoned her most trusted Huntsman. She ordered him to take Snowdrop deep into the forest and never bring her back.

The Huntsman led Snowdrop into the dense woods. But when he saw her innocent, pleading eyes, he couldn't bring himself to harm her.

He whispered, "Run, little princess, run as far as you can and never return!" Snowdrop, terrified, fled deeper into the unknown forest.

Lost and alone, Snowdrop wandered through the dark, spooky trees. The forest animals watched her with curious eyes as she stumbled forward.

Just as despair began to set in, she spotted a tiny, charming cottage nestled among the trees. It had a welcoming little door and cozy windows.

Inside, everything was miniature and tidy. Snowdrop, exhausted, cleaned up a bit and then fell asleep on one of the small beds.

Later that evening, seven little men, the Dwarfs, returned home from their work in the mines. They were surprised to find a beautiful girl sleeping in their cottage.

Snowdrop woke up and bravely told them her story. The kind Dwarfs, touched by her plight, offered her a home if she would cook and clean for them.

Back at the castle, the Queen consulted her magic mirror again. To her horror, the mirror revealed that Snowdrop was still alive and living with the Seven Dwarfs.

Driven by pure malice, the Queen disguised herself as an old peddler woman. She prepared a shiny, red apple, poisoned on one side.

She found Snowdrop at the cottage and offered her the tempting apple. Snowdrop, unaware of the danger, took a bite and instantly fell into a deep, magical sleep.

Many years later, a handsome Prince rode through the forest and discovered Snowdrop. Enchanted by her beauty, he kissed her, and the piece of poisoned apple dislodged, waking her instantly. They fell in love and planned to marry, living happily ever after.
