In the bustling streets of Fort Kochi, young Manu, a curious boy with a love for cricket, notices something odd. The usually vibrant sunset is now a sickly green.
Later that evening, while enjoying pazhampori with his friends, Lakshmi and Govind, Manu spots a strange, glowing creature lurking near the Chinese fishing nets.
The next day, the local tea stall owner, Chellappan Chettan, complains that his cardamom plants are growing at an alarming rate, twisting into bizarre shapes.
Manu, Lakshmi, and Govind decide to investigate. They venture into the backwaters, where they discover a hidden cave radiating an eerie energy.
Inside the cave, they find an ancient artifact - a peculiar idol emitting the strange green glow. It seems to be the source of all the strange happenings.
Suddenly, a group of mischievous 'Kallan Kelavanmar' (mischievous old men spirits) appear, trying to snatch the idol. A chaotic chase ensues through the backwaters.
Lakshmi uses her knowledge of local folklore to trick the Kallan Kelavanmar, causing them to stumble and drop the idol.
Manu realizes the idol needs to be returned to its rightful place – the ancient temple deep within the Western Ghats.
The trio embarks on a thrilling journey through the mountains, facing challenges and overcoming obstacles, aided by the wisdom of a wise old Adivasi woman.
Finally, they reach the temple and return the idol, restoring balance to Kerala. The sunset returns to its vibrant orange, and life goes back to normal, but Manu, Lakshmi, and Govind will never forget their adventure.
