Runny's Rainbow Rescue

Runny the bunny, so happy and bright, woke up one morning to sunshine and light. He hopped from his burrow, ready to play, excited for fun on this beautiful day.

He saw all his friends, the squirrels and the mice, ready to play games, which was very nice. Above them all shone a rainbow so grand, a colorful arc over the green, grassy land.

Suddenly, whoosh! A big wind came to play, and blew all the rainbow's bright colors away! Red, yellow, and blue, scattered and gone, leaving Runny and friends feeling sad and forlorn.

"Oh no!" cried Runny, "What shall we do? The rainbow's not happy, it's missing its hue!" He gathered his friends, a brave little crew, determined to find all the colors anew.

First, they searched for the red, bright and bold, in roses and berries, a story to be told. They found a red ladybug, shiny and small, and carefully carried it, answering the rainbow's call.

Next, they looked for the yellow so sunny, in sunflowers and buttercups, cheery and funny. A bright yellow butterfly fluttered near by, adding its color to the rainbow in the sky.

Then, they searched for the blue, deep and wide, in bluebirds and bluebells, side by side. A sparkling bluebird feather, light as could be, brought the blue back for all to see.

With red, yellow, and blue safely found, Runny and friends gathered 'round. They held up their treasures, a colorful sight, restoring the rainbow with all of their might.

The rainbow reappeared, shining so bright, filled with colors, a beautiful light! Runny and friends cheered, their mission complete, their hearts full of joy, oh so sweet!
