Searching for Numbers

Mia and Leo are playing in their sunny bedroom, building a tall block tower. Mia has a great idea and says, "Let's go on a hunt for all the numbers!" They start by looking for number one right inside their home.

Outside, they walk down the path past brightly colored houses. "Look!" shouts Leo, pointing with excitement. Right on a red mailbox, the shiny silver number two is waiting.

In the park, flowers are blooming and birds are singing. A fuzzy bee zooms by, then another, and another. Mia smiles as she counts three happy bees collecting sweet nectar.

The children reach the park entrance, where bicycles are lined up. Mia counts the wheels on two big bikes and two smaller ones. "Four wheels ready to roll!" she cheers.

On the sidewalk, there is a large, colorful hopscotch grid drawn in chalk. Mia hops carefully, calling out each number, until she lands right on the numeral five.

They walk past a bakery smelling of fresh bread and pastries. Looking through the clean window, they spot a basket overflowing with apples. Together, they count six shiny red apples.

Next, they visit the library, a quiet place full of stories. On a shelf, seven picture books are displayed, with bright covers inviting them to read.

Walking towards a large brick apartment building, they look closely at the entrance doors. On the very top floor, the number eight is neatly painted in gold.

In the distance, they hear quacking near a small, shimmering pond. A mother duck swims with her ducklings, and Leo carefully counts nine little ducks paddling together.

As the sun begins to set, they reach the local school. They notice a large wall with a big mural and many windows, counting ten large windows in total. Mia and Leo hold hands, happy after their great number hunt.
