Title: The Forgotten Key Story Idea: Thirteen-year-old Lila finds an old brass key hidden inside her grandmother’s favourite storybook. When she touches it, a strange symbol glows on the key’s handle. Her grandmother refuses to talk about it, only saying, “Some doors must be opened at the right time.” That night, Lila dreams of a huge wooden door standing in the middle of a forest she’s never seen. When she wakes up, dirt from the forest floor is under her fingernails.
