Hello! My name is Alba, and I am twenty-nine years old. I am tall with long, straight dark hair, brown eyes, and a turned-up nose. I grew up in a beautiful coastal city called Valencia, a sunny place famous for sweet oranges and delicious paella.
As a young girl, I loved singing loudly and playing volleyball with my schoolmates. I lived with my wonderful parents and my brother, Quique, close to the beautiful blue sea that always brings me calm. After a busy day of games, nothing made me happier than eating milk chocolate and crispy potatoes.
My mother is a schoolteacher, and she has always been my greatest role model. Watching her guide her students with patience and love filled my own heart with a big dream. When the time came to choose my path, I knew I wanted to follow in her footsteps and become a teacher too.
I have been a teacher for six years now, and it is a job that fills my heart completely. Every day in the classroom, I discover something truly magical. I realize that more than me teaching my students, it is my students who are teaching me how to look at the world.
I have always loved living new adventures and discovering different cultures and ways of life. This curiosity filled me with courage to pack my bags and travel far from home. My love for the sea and new experiences guided me on a grand journey across the ocean.
My exciting adventure brought me all the way to the beautiful town of Chame. Walking up to the local school, I saw the bright green trees and felt the warm, welcoming breeze. I knew in my heart that this wonderful place was exactly where I was meant to be.
Now, I am so happy to sit here in the classroom with all of you. I did not just come here to teach, but to listen, share, and learn from each of your unique spirits. Together, we are going to start a beautiful journey of friendship and learning.
Quiero crear un cuento para llevar a Panamá donde estaré haciendo un voluntariado en una escuela de Chame, en el aula de niños de educación especial. En el cuento tengo que hacer una presentación de mi. Quiero decir que me llamo Alba, que tengo 29 años. Crecí en Valencia en una ciudad costera junto a mis padres y mi hermano Quique. Valencia es la ciudad de la paella y de las naranjas. De pequeña me gustaba mucho cantar y jugar a voleybol con mis compañeras del colegio. Me encanta el chocolate, con leche siempre y también las patatas. También me encanta el mar, siempre me ha dado calma. Mi madre es maestra y, ella, siempre ha sido una ejemplo para mi. Supongo que por eso, cuando me tocó elegir qué estudiar elegí ser maestra, como ella. Llevo siendo profe 6 años y es algo que me llena el corazón. A veces pienso que más que enseñar mis alumnos me están haciendo aprender. Además, siempre me ha gustado vivir nuevas aventuras, conocer personas y culturas diferentes, conocer cómo viven, su estilo de vida... y todo eso me trajo aquí a Chame. Haz un cuento en lectura fácil, que sea un cuento para niños, donde cuente mi historia pero no desde un punto de superioridad, sino de manera humilde.
