Deep within the misty Bamboo Forest of Longquan, young blacksmith Ye Tianming watches as a meteor streaks across the night sky, crashing into the heart of the mountains. Driven by a strange calling, he unearths a glowing celestial ore, destined to forge a blade that will alter the fate of the empire.

For forty-nine days and nights, Tianming labors over the roaring furnace, his hands scarred but unyielding as he pours his own spiritual energy into the metal. When the blade is finally quenched in sacred spring water, a brilliant light pierces the clouds, revealing the legendary sword known as Forever Echo.

Word of the miraculous weapon reaches the treacherous Imperial Court, where the ambitious Prince Zhao plots to seize the throne. He dispatches a legion of elite shadow assassins to eliminate the young blacksmith and claim the celestial blade for his dark army.

As the assassins surround the burning village, a mysterious maiden named Lin Xueyan appears from the bamboo canopy, her flowing white silks deflecting a volley of poisoned arrows. The journey takes a dark turn when they infiltrate the bustling Imperial Capital to find a missing piece of the sword's prophecy. In the crowded, lantern-lit night market, Tianming senses a sinister energy, realizing that the Prince's grand sorcerer has laid a mystical trap for them.

Separated in the labyrinthine corridors of the forbidden palace, Xueyan is captured, forcing Tianming to face the grand sorcerer alone in the imperial throne room. Surrounded by swirling dark magic and illusions, Tianming raises his sword, channeling the pure celestial light to dispel the shadows.
