The moving truck rumbled, carrying all of Max's belongings. He looked out the window, waving goodbye to his old home, feeling a mix of sadness and anticipation for the unknown.
In his new room, Max unpacked his toys. There was his trusty car, his colorful blocks, and his beloved teddy bear. But everything felt different, a little unfamiliar.
His parents explained that in Sweden, some of the toy names were different! Max looked at his car, and his mom said, "In Swedish, it's a 'bil'!"
Max's car was now a 'bil'. He giggled, trying out the new word. He imagined his car driving on a Swedish road.
Next, Max looked at his blocks. His dad said, "These blocks are called 'klossar' in Swedish!" Max tried to say it, "Klossar!"
Max held up his teddy bear and asked, "What about my bear?" His sister smiled and said, "It's a 'nallle' in Swedish!" Max hugged his 'nalle'.
Max met a new friend, Lena, at the park. They played with a 'bil' (car) and 'klossar' (blocks). Max pointed to his 'nalle' (teddy bear) and Lena understood.
Lena showed Max her toys. She had a 'docka' (doll) and a 'studsmatta' (trampoline). Max excitedly learned the new words.
Max and Lena built a tall tower with the 'klossar' (blocks). They laughed as they played, the language barrier disappearing with every shared smile.
Back home, Max drew pictures of his toys, writing their English and Swedish names. He loved learning new words!
