The first day at school

Penelope woke up with a wiggle and a grin. Today was her very first day of school! She bounced out of bed, eager to start this new adventure. Her mom helped her pick out a bright, colorful outfit and packed her a lunch filled with her favorite treats.

Walking to school, Penelope clutched her new backpack, her heart doing a little flutter. The school building was big and bright, with colorful pictures in every window. She took a deep breath and followed her mom through the front doors, ready to explore.

Inside the classroom, Penelope saw colorful blocks, crayons, and books everywhere! Her teacher, Ms. Sunshine, welcomed her with a warm smile. She learned the alphabet with fun songs and colored pictures of animals in the zoo, discovering the letters from A to Z.

During playtime, Penelope met a girl named Lily. They built amazing towers with blocks and pretended to be explorers, sailing on a ship made of cardboard. They laughed and played together, creating stories and new worlds with their imaginations.

After lunch, it was time for a science lesson! Ms. Sunshine showed them how plants grow, from tiny seeds to beautiful flowers. Penelope learned about the sun, water, and the importance of taking care of plants, fascinated by the wonders of nature.

At the end of the day, Penelope felt happy and tired. She hugged Ms. Sunshine goodbye and skipped out of school, already planning to tell her parents all about her amazing first day. She knew this was just the beginning of many exciting days ahead!
