The Remote's Whisper

Leo, a lanky young man with a perpetually bored expression, rummages through his attic. Dust motes dance in the sunlight filtering through a small window as he unearths an old, strange-looking remote control from a forgotten box. It has many colorful, unlabeled buttons and a small, glowing antenna.

Curiosity piqued, Leo presses a button. Suddenly, his grumpy cat, Mittens, floats gracefully across the room as if on an invisible string. Leo's eyes widen in disbelief and a mischievous grin spreads across his face.
