Ultai's Helpful Hands

In a bright and cheerful kindergarten classroom, the kind teacher smiles warmly at her students. She reminds them all to be helpful and kind to their parents when they go home. Little Ultai listens carefully, locking this wonderful advice deep inside her heart.

As Ultai walks home, she happily recites a little poem: I have two hands, helpful and bright, working for family with all my might! She feels excited to show her family how much she has grown. Her heart dances with joy with every step she takes toward her house.

When Ultai steps inside her cozy home, she sees her dear father sitting down, looking tired after a long day of hard work. She wants to bring a big smile to his face right away. She greets him warmly and takes off her small shoes.

Father, can I boil the tea for you, Ultai asks with eager, shining eyes. She wants to prepare a warm, comforting drink to make him feel better. She reaches out her hands, hoping to help with the afternoon tea.

Her father steps back into the house carrying the warm samovar and stops in complete surprise. He looks at the sparkling clean table and the beautifully organized tea cups. A wave of pride and happiness washes over his face.
