Barnaby Bear’s Big Potty Adventure

Barnaby Bear was busy building a giant tower of colorful blocks in the middle of the living room. Suddenly, he felt a strange, wiggly sensation in his tummy that made him stop playing. He wasn't quite sure what his body was trying to tell him, but he knew something was different.

Mommy Bear knelt down beside Barnaby and gently led him into the bathroom to see a special surprise. There, sitting on the floor, was a small, bright blue chair that was perfectly sized for a little bear. Mommy explained that this was his very own potty, a place just for him to use when he felt that wiggle.

Barnaby felt a little bit nervous, so he brought his favorite picture book about honeybees to look at while he sat. He sat down on the cool, smooth seat and tried his best to relax. Mommy stayed close by, giving him a warm smile and telling him what a brave big bear he was being.

After a few minutes, nothing had happened, and Barnaby was ready to go back to his blocks. Mommy Bear told him that it was perfectly fine and that sometimes it takes a few tries to get it right. They walked back to the playroom together, knowing the potty would be waiting whenever he was ready.

Later that afternoon, while Barnaby was munching on a sweet apple slice, the wiggly feeling in his tummy returned even stronger than before. This time, he knew exactly what it meant and didn't wait a second longer. He dropped his snack and started trotting toward the bathroom as fast as his little legs could carry him.

Barnaby reached the bathroom and carefully climbed onto his blue potty just in time. He took a deep breath and listened to the soft ticking of the clock on the wall. He felt focused and determined, remembering everything Mommy had told him about listening to his body.

Suddenly, Barnaby heard a tiny splash and felt a wave of relief wash over him. A big, bright smile spread across his face because he realized he had finally done it. He called out for Mommy Bear, eager to share the exciting news of his very first success.

Mommy Bear gave him a big hug and showed him how to use the soft toilet paper to stay clean. She explained that taking care of his body was an important part of growing up. Barnaby listened carefully, feeling very grown-up as he followed her instructions step by step.

Next, they went to the sink where Barnaby learned to scrub his paws with plenty of bubbly, pink soap. He loved the way the bubbles felt between his paws and the sweet scent of strawberries in the air. Rinsing the soap away, he watched the water swirl down the drain, feeling fresh and clean.

To celebrate his big achievement, Mommy Bear let Barnaby pick out a shiny gold star sticker for his progress chart. He pressed the sticker down firmly and looked at it with pride, knowing he was becoming a big bear. That night, Barnaby went to sleep feeling confident and ready for more potty adventures tomorrow.
