Pippin the frog woke up on his favorite lily pad. The sun was warm on his green skin, and the air smelled fresh. He stretched his little legs and blinked his big, happy eyes.

But as the day went on, Pippin felt a tiny bit lonely. He watched the dragonflies zoom by and the fish swim below, wishing he had someone to share his quiet morning with.

He hopped to the edge of the pond and saw something small. A tiny, wilted flower drooped its head on a dry patch of earth. It looked sad and thirsty.

Pippin's heart felt a little tug. He knew just how that tiny flower felt. He decided right then that he would help it feel better.

With a determined hop, Pippin moved towards the water's edge. He dipped his toe in the cool pond, thinking of the best way to carry water to his new friend.

He found a perfectly shaped green leaf, just big enough to hold a single, glistening dewdrop. Very carefully, Pippin balanced the leaf, holding the precious water.

Slowly and steadily, Pippin carried the dewdrop back to the thirsty flower. He gently tilted the leaf, letting the tiny drop of water fall onto the flower's dry soil.

Suddenly, the little flower began to perk up! Its petals slowly unfolded, and its stem straightened. It looked much happier and brighter than before.

Pippin watched the flower, and a warm, bubbly feeling spread through his chest. It was a wonderful feeling, much better than being lonely. He felt so proud and happy.

Pippin hopped back to his lily pad, a big smile on his face. The little flower, now standing tall, seemed to wave thanks to him. Pippin knew that even small acts of kindness could bring so much joy.
