Pablito Learns to Listen

Pablito, a boy with big, curious eyes, was always looking for new adventures. He loved to run and jump, and sometimes, he forgot to listen to the rules. He'd often be found exploring every nook and cranny of his backyard.

One sunny day, his mom, with a sweet and concerned smile, pointed to a huge, leafy tree in the garden. "Pablito, my love, please don't climb that tree. It's very tall and you could fall," she told him gently.

Pablito gazed at the tree with its high, tempting branches, full of green leaves and some bright, shiny fruits. A mischievous sparkle twinkled in his eyes, imagining how much fun it would be to climb it.

With a glint in his eyes and a cheeky grin, Pablito waited until his mom was distracted. Quickly, he approached the trunk and began to climb, holding tightly to the thick branches.

He climbed higher and higher, feeling like a brave explorer at the top of the world. From above, he could see the entire garden and the blue sky, and a delicious red fruit seemed just within his reach.

He stretched out a little arm to grab the fruit, but a thin branch cracked under his foot. His eyes widened in surprise and a small gasp escaped his lips.

Oh no! Pablito lost his balance and began to tumble down, his arms and legs flailing in the air like a rag doll. Little colorful stars swirled around him as he descended.

With a soft "THUD!", Pablito landed in a fluffy bush of leaves, a little dazed but not hurt. He rubbed his head, feeling a bit dizzy and with a small twinge in his knee.

His mom, who had heard the noise, ran to him with her heart in her hand. She hugged him tight, relieved he wasn't seriously injured, and then gave him a gentle reminder about the importance of listening.

Pablito, with eyes full of regret, hugged his mom and promised he would always listen to her advice. From that day on, Pablito learned that safety is most important and that Mom's words are for his own good.
