Leo notices strange, twinkling green lights descending from the night sky, far brighter than any stars he has ever seen. He grabs his telescope, realizing that these aren't stars at all, but a fleet of colorful ships shaped like circus tents.
Huge spaceships land softly in the city park, their neon lights pulsing with an eerie glow against the dark grass. Out of the hatches tumble dozens of colorful clowns from Clown Star, somersaulting onto the earth with mischievous grins.
Each clown carries a massive bundle of glowing green balloons that seem to have a life of their own, bobbing and weaving in the air. The leader, a tall clown with a star-shaped nose, points toward the city center and lets out a booming, echoing laugh.
As the clowns march through the streets, they release the green balloons, which begin to stick to buildings and cars. Everywhere a balloon touches, the hard concrete turns into soft, bouncy marshmallow, making the city wobble and shake.
The invasion spreads as the green balloons multiply, filling the sky until the sun is blocked by a strange emerald haze. People find themselves bouncing uncontrollably, unable to walk straight as the world becomes a giant, silly trampoline.
