Beyond the Bus Stand

one afternoon after sch i was walking down to the bustand with my frnd ria... ig it was back in 2021- i was in form four tht time... starting of the year... so as usual i always dropped her to her bus, talked until her bus left then mine wud come- i never noticed b4 but that day, i saw him. like it wasnt just a random look- like it was kind of magical uk..... then...like- i cudnt break the eye contact with him while talking to ria.. like he always sat at the very ebhind seat of ria's seat. like asf my eyes was forcing me not to look away-even tho he wasnt tht invested as he was talkin to his frnds... so like- i litrly felt lost- zoomed out- i wud see this face in the blank white walls... next day i started askin ria in sch abt him like a cid lol... but then afternoon i walked so fast to reach the bustand coz my eyes started searchin him everywea... who was he, why do i feel this way, why do i feel so attracted... just want to see him once mayb a lil while.....but unfortunately he didnt came... i didnt see him tht day...ig tht was the covid time when 2nd wave hitted and lockdown started .. nd here fr us we ended up in 3mnths lockdown...no sch nth...i felt crazy- like started talking to plant, smiling fr no reason, dreaming abt him like imaging a future alrdy lmao, manifesting the universe to meet him once and then brooooooo......like a week or 2 later... i was wandering the compund nd decided to visit my neigbor cozn - since tht time in our area plot there was only 2 house -mine nd tht cozn.... while walking to her place bro u wont believe wat i witnessed.....i saw like - a family car came and stopped to a plot... we both were just seeing them nd suddenly another came... tht fam got off and whom did i witnessssssss- it was himmmmmmmmmmmmm broooooooooooooooooo.......yeahhhhhhhhhhhhh brooooooooooo...i thot i was imaging but nooooo it was himmmmmmmmmmmm..... i got so excitedd.... i told her abouthim nd like he litrlyy became my crush just from tht one eye contact...... it was like in a few week of tht one month of the 3mnths lockdown- so tht family came to mark their plot to start with building their house ( this fam was his grandparents)..... then weeks went by- my brother nd he became frnds... his sister nd became frnds like normal casual.... nd thn 2nd mnth... his grandparents house was almost completed.. so they stayed over here coz his mum worked at the hospital nd all the staffs were asked to isolate due to dealing with covid n ill patients to avoid the spread of virus... oh yeah... then my brother nd him became frnds... they started visiting our home for playing.... i really had to stop myself from falling out so badly coz whenever i see him- i would zoom out nd just goo....... ughhhhhh cnt expresssss.....yeah like it all began frm tht small frndship thru siblings lol... we did talk.. but he started first... casual hi hello... thn sharing social media ids for Insta... thn we talked on insta... thn we became good frnds..... sharing memes,reels, things about ourself... flirting hehe... nd thn one day...oh nooo not tht day... um later after 3mnths schools opened... i got to know he studies in the neighbor sch of my sch... like i studied in Central College high sch nd he studied at Natabua High Sch..... so a week went by normally- smtms he met at the bustand nd wud travel in the same bus.... then after smtms i saw him standing wid his frnds at a bus shelter nearby sch... so i thot it his routine spot... he saw, met nd walked along with me... this continued for days until then i came to know that he waited for me everyday.... goshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... not even him knew how many butterfly's were in my tummy... like the whole zoo .....not yet... i mean idrk.... so like - i sometimes miss my home bus to travel wid him in his home bus... nd wud get off at my destination thn walkdown to home... smtms he does it too... instead of goin to his home he wud walkdown wid me coz his grannys home was behind mine... so one day, i dont really remember which day was tht when he asked me out on insta so i said yes..i think back in covid times.. like just a week of new dating , then one day my bestie called,we talked,she came to knw about him, she started talking to him thn one day she stole him from me nd like we brokeup... so i didnt mind coz i thot its just a coincidence... but we still were friends... thn after long time i came to knw tht she cheated on him nd they brokeup-like she double dated. then one day - it was his bdy, so i posted a story bout him wising him bdy nd slightly mentioning- to my curent obsessbiob-blah blah blahh thn ended wid saying, dw its just a li crush u r of mine but thn il handle -sort of flirty way.... thn he got curious coz he didnt knew he was my crush.. thn i had to confess my feelings to him... t
