Callum the Crocodile lived in a big zoo in Scotland, where the mist often rolled over the green hills. Even though he had a nice pool, he spent his mornings shivering because the air felt far too chilly for a crocodile.
One morning, Callum saw Zookeeper Ben walking by with his clipboard. Callum splashed his tail to get his attention and asked if Ben could please check the temperature, as his scales felt like cold ice cubes.
Zookeeper Ben smiled and pulled a small, glowing device from his pocket. It was a clever IoT sensor that could tell exactly how warm or cold the enclosure was with just one quick click.
The sensor beeped and showed a temperature that was much too low for a tropical reptile. Ben explained that crocodiles need to be between 29 and 34 degrees Celsius to feel their very best.
Soon, a team of busy builders arrived at the enclosure with big trucks and shiny tools. They were ready to transform Callum’s home into the warmest and coziest spot in all of Scotland.

The crocodiles are incredibly happy and enjoy basking in their new upgraded enclosure.
