Jack lived with his mother in a humble, thatched-roof cottage nestled in a green valley. Their only possession of value was a gentle brown cow, whose milk was their only source of income and survival.
On his way to the market, Jack encountered a mysterious traveler wearing a cloak of many colors. The man offered Jack five shimmering, iridescent beans in exchange for the cow, promising they were magical and would bring him great fortune.
Back at the cottage, Jack’s mother was heartbroken and furious that he had traded their only cow for mere beans. In a fit of frustration, she tossed the beans out of the open window and into the dark garden soil before sending Jack to bed.
The next morning, a shadow fell over the house as a massive, twisted beanstalk reached toward the heavens. Its thick green vines and enormous leaves disappeared into the swirling white clouds, creating a ladder to another world.
Driven by a spirit of adventure, Jack gripped the sturdy vines and began his long ascent. He climbed past the birds and the treetops, higher and higher, until the world below looked like a tiny toy village.
At the very top, Jack discovered a magnificent stone castle perched upon a solid, fluffy cloud. Inside the golden halls lived a mountain-sized giant who sat surrounded by piles of glimmering gold and magical treasures.
Suddenly, the giant roared with a voice like thunder and began to chase Jack through the massive corridors. Jack scrambled back to the beanstalk, sliding down the vines as fast as he could while the giant’s heavy footsteps shook the sky.
Upon reaching the ground, Jack grabbed a sharp axe and swung it with all his might at the beanstalk's base. The giant plant tumbled to the earth, and Jack and his mother were finally safe, living happily ever after with their new-found treasures.

Page 6 – The Giant’s Castle At the top, Jack found a huge castle. It belonged to a terrible giant who had lots of treasure. Page 7 – The Giant Chases Jack When the giant saw Jack, he shouted and chased him. Jack quickly climbed down the beanstalk to escape. Page 8 – The Beanstalk Falls Jack grabbed an axe and chopped the beanstalk. The giant fell, and Jack and his mother were finally safe and happy.
