Page 1 – Jack and His Mother Jack lived with his poor mother in a small cottage. They had only one cow, and it was their only way to get money. Page 2 – The Magic Beans One day, Jack’s mother asked him to sell the cow. On the way to the market, Jack met a strange man who gave him magic beans in exchange for the cow. Page 3 – The Angry Mother When Jack returned home, his mother was very angry. She threw the magic beans out of the window. Page 4 – The Giant Beanstalk The next morning, Jack woke up and saw something amazing. A huge beanstalk had grown from the ground all the way up into the clouds. Page 5 – Jack Climbs the Beanstalk Curious and brave, Jack began to climb the giant beanstalk. He climbed higher and higher until he reached the sky. Page 6 – The Giant’s Castle At the top, Jack found a huge castle. It belonged to a terrible giant who had lots of treasure. Page 7 – The Giant Chases Jack When the giant saw Jack, he shouted and chased him. Jack quickly climbed down the beanstalk to escape. Page 8 – The Beanstalk Falls Jack grabbed an axe and chopped the beanstalk. The giant fell, and Jack and his mother were finally safe and happy.
