Leo the lion cub was smaller and quieter than his playful friends. He often watched them pounce and tumble from a little distance. His heart longed to join, but a shy whisper kept him still.

One sunny morning, the other cubs practiced their roars, big and booming. Leo took a deep breath, puffed out his chest, and tried his best. Only a tiny, almost silent squeak came out.

A little sad, Leo wandered off to sit by a grand, bright flower. Its petals were round and soft, and it seemed to smile just for him. He wished his voice could be as beautiful as the flower.

Suddenly, a tiny bird, no bigger than his paw, fluttered down nearby. It looked lost and chirped a small, worried song. Leo tilted his head, feeling a pang of sympathy.

The bird understood! It hopped along the path, looking back at Leo with grateful eyes. Leo watched, his large paws resting softly on the ground.

Soon, the bird saw its family chirping happily in a leafy tree. It flew up, joining them with a joyful trill. Leo felt a wonderful warmth spread through his chest.

A big, happy smile spread across Leo's face. He hadn't roared like the others, but he had helped a friend. That felt even better than the biggest roar.

Taking another deep breath, Leo let out a sound. It wasn't a mighty roar, but a clear, happy "Mrow!" It was his own special sound, full of kindness and a little bit of newfound courage.

The other cubs, hearing Leo's happy sound, looked over. They saw his bright smile and invited him to play. Leo bounded over, knowing his kind heart was the strongest part of him.
