Buster is a character from the tv show Mrs Browns Boys and Merrick is the howling wolf Wild Force power ranger. they met when Max and Cole couldn't sleep one night so they decided to go onto the internet for a bit when they stumbled across a website that allows the person who signs up to legally marry a tv character of their choosing. Max and Cole decided to sign Merrick up as a joke as Merrick couldn't keep a relationship for long and they went through the various profiles before Max and Cole decided on Buster's profile. Max and Cole found Buster intriguing as the profile said that Buster was a loyal man and they decided for Merrick to marry Tony on the spot through the website. the next morning, Max and Cole woke up with a smile on their face and they got up to get breakfast. during breakfast Danny and his wife Alyssa were conversing with each other, Max and Cole told Merrick that he was married to a tv character and Merrick didn't believe them when he noticed Buster standing with Princess Shayla talking oblivious of the Wild Force rangers sitting not to far from them, Max, Cole and Merrick had was shocked as they knew that Buster was a tv show character but Buster had managed to manifest to the real world from the tv show that Buster is in. when Princess Shayla saw Merrick sitting there and asked him if he could come closer then she introduced Buster to him.
