Riya's Wonderful Birthday Adventure

It was Riya’s birthday, and she was very happy 😊 Mumma had planned a lovely birthday party just for her. Riya’s grandmother smiled and said, “Riya, you should say thank you to Mumma for organising this beautiful party.” Soon, all of Riya’s friends came to celebrate with her. They sang, danced, and laughed together. But after some time, Riya felt a little sad 😢 Her best friend Tiya could not come because she was unwell. Seeing Riya’s sad face, Grandma said softly, “It’s okay, Riya. You can still enjoy with all the friends who have come.” Riya nodded and went to play with her friends. They played with Riya’s toys happily. Suddenly, Ivaan was playing with Riya’s toy car and oh no! 🚗 One wheel broke and fell off. “Can a car run with only two wheels?” Grandma asked. “Nooo!” said everyone. “We need four wheels!” When Riya saw her broken car, she felt very angry 😠 Her face turned red, and she wanted to shout. Grandma gently said, “Riya, when you feel angry, let’s cool down. Count from 1 to 10, and then think of ways to fix the problem.” Riya counted slowly… 1…2…3… all the way to 10 🌸 Now she felt calm. Ivaan said, “I’m sorry, Riya.” Riya smiled and said, “It’s okay.” They thought of ways to fix the toy and continued playing happily 😊 After a fun day, Riya was very tired. At night, she went to her room to sleep. But soon, she came back to Mumma crying 😢 “Mumma, I feel scared. My room is dark.” Mumma hugged Riya and said, “Don’t worry, Riya. I’ll come with you. We will keep the night lamp on, so the room won’t be dark.” Riya felt safe and happy again 😊 She slept peacefully after a wonderful birthday.
