David had a new sled. He could not wait to try it on a snowy day after he got it. Finally, it snowed! David was happy. He asked his mother, “Mom, may I go sledding?” When his mother said yes, David quickly put on his gloves and a hat. He ran happily to the door with his sled. His mother looked at him and laughed. She asked, “Aren’t you forgetting something?” David looked down. He forgot to put on his boots! He searched the whole house for his boots. Finally, he found them in the basement.
