Pricing FAQ
What subscription plans are available and how many credits do they include?
GenStory currently offers a Basic plan with 300 credits per month, a Standard plan with 1000 credits per month, and a Premium plan with 2000 credits per month. Each plan renews monthly with fresh credits.
How are credits used when creating stories?
Each story generation request consumes credits based on the AI processing required and the final generated story with illustrations. The exact amount is displayed on screen before you click 'Generate', so you always know the cost upfront.
What happens if I run out of credits?
You can upgrade to a higher-tier plan at any time to get more credits. Your new plan will take effect immediately and you'll receive the full credit allocation for that tier.
Do unused monthly credits roll over to the next billing cycle?
No, monthly plan credits refresh on your billing date, and any remaining credits are reset. We recommend choosing a plan that matches your expected monthly usage.
Where can I check my remaining credits?
Your current credit balance is displayed in your account dashboard. You can also view detailed usage history to track how credits are being used.
What payment methods do you accept?
Currently we use Creem payment system, which supports major credit and debit cards. We are actively expanding to support more payment methods.
How do I change or cancel my subscription?
Open your profile, select Manage Subscription, choose a different plan or click Cancel Plan, then confirm. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing, while cancellations keep your plan active until the current cycle ends.
Can I get a refund?
Yes—if you haven't used any credits since your most recent payment, the fee will be fully refunded. Please contact our support team to process refund requests.
Does GenStory offer API or team accounts?
Not currently—each subscription is for individual users at this time. We're exploring team features for future releases. Join our Discord community to stay updated on new features.
What commercial rights do I have for the stories I create?
You can use GenStory-created stories for any legal purpose, including personal use, printing, and commercial sale, as long as you don't resell our models or build competing generative services, and comply with our Terms of Service.
