Lily's Big Horse Adventure

Little Lily is a two-year-old with golden curls and a spirit full of mischief. Today, she is zooming through the farmyard, her favorite wooden horse tucked tightly under her arm.

Seeing the stable gate ajar, Lily giggles and wiggles through a patch of squishy mud. She leaves a trail of messy footprints as she sneaks toward the big, gentle horse grazing in the sun.

Lily reaches up as high as her tiny arms can go to touch the soft nose of Barnaby the horse. Barnaby bows his head low, letting his little friend give him a sweet, sticky kiss right on his muzzle.

Determined to ride like a pro, Lily stacks three wobbly hay bales to reach Barnaby's side. She isn't quite tall enough yet, so she decides to let her stuffed bunny take the first ride on the horse's back instead.

Lily discovers a bucket of crisp red apples meant for Barnaby’s snack. She thinks they look delicious and takes a tiny, crunching bite out of every single one before sharing them with her patient horse friend.

When her parents finally find her, Lily is busy decorating Barnaby’s mane with her own bright pink hair ribbons. She looks up with a mischievous grin, proud of the colorful makeover she gave her giant best friend.

The adventure ends with a splashy bath to wash away the mud and straw from Lily's toes. She plays with her rubber horse toy in the bubbles, recounting her big day with happy babbles and splashes.

Tucked safely under her cozy horse-print blanket, Lily finally closes her eyes for the night. She falls fast asleep, dreaming of sunny fields and galloping through the grass with Barnaby by her side.
