The Great Cupboard Disaster To begin with, Helen and Betty’s bedroom was the definition of a nightmare. The floor was completely buried under a mountain of colorful clothes, tangled toys, and open books. Standing at the doorway, their mother looked absolutely exhausted. As a result, she crossed her arms and let out a heavy sigh, her eyes flashing with disappointment at the chaotic scene. Shortly after, Mum marched downstairs to the living room, where the two girls were relaxing as if they hadn’t a care in the world. Helen was lounging lazily on the sofa, while Betty was focused on building a toy tower on the rug. Immediately, Mum dropped an ultimatum: "If this house isn't spotless in ten minutes, there will be no dessert and definitely no TV tonight!" Panic-stricken, the sisters scrambled back to their room. However, instead of tidying up properly, Helen whispered a "genius" shortcut. While Betty snatched up every stray sock and teddy bear, Helen threw open the massive wardrobe doors. Together, they shoved, pushed, and kicked the entire mess into the dark corners of the cupboard. A few moments later, the room looked suspiciously perfect. When Mum returned to inspect their progress, she was stunned. In fact, she gave them a bright smile, truly believing her daughters had turned over a new leaf. "I’m so proud of you both!" she exclaimed, pointing at the sparkling floor. But suddenly, the silence was broken by a terrifying creak. Due to the immense pressure of the hidden mess, the cupboard doors flew wide open. Consequently, a massive avalanche of laundry and plastic toys exploded into the room, burying the floor once again. In the end, as Mum stood there in frozen shock, the girls bolted out of the door, realizing their "magic" trick had just turned into a total disaster!
