Benny's Big Heart

In a bustling forest filled with tall trees and colorful flowers, lives a little squirrel named Benny. Benny loves to collect acorns and spends all day gathering them into a big pile. He dreams of having the biggest collection in the whole forest. But Benny is so busy collecting that he doesn’t have time to play with the other animals. One day, a curious rabbit named Molly hops over to Benny’s tree. She asks if he wants to join a game of hide-and-seek, but Benny shakes his head and continues stacking acorns higher and higher. The next morning, Benny notices that some acorns are missing from his pile. Worried, he looks around to find out what happened. He spots Molly sharing the acorns with a group of hungry chipmunks who didn’t have anything to eat. Benny feels upset at first but then sees how happy the chipmunks are as they nibble on their treats. When Molly comes back, she invites Benny to play again, promising it will be fun. This time, Benny agrees to take a break from his collection and joins in on the game. As they play together, Benny realizes how much he enjoys spending time with his friends. The other animals laugh and cheer as they run around the forest, filling the air with joy. Benny starts to understand that sharing his acorns makes him happier than keeping them all for himself. He decides to give some away so everyone can have enough for winter. The other animals thank Benny and invite him to join in more games and adventures. Benny’s pile grows smaller but his heart feels fuller than ever before. He learns that friendship is more valuable than having the biggest collection of acorns. By giving and playing together, he finds happiness he never imagined while sitting alone by his tree. From then on, Benny splits his time between gathering acorns and enjoying playful days with Molly and the rest of his forest friends.
