Sammy Learns About Space!

Sammy loved playing with his friends at school. Sometimes, he got so excited he would get a little too close. He didn't always remember how much space his friends needed, especially when they were busy playing with blocks.

One day, Sammy was building a tall tower. He wanted to help his friend, Lily, but he accidentally bumped into her. Lily looked a little sad. Sammy didn't understand why.

His teacher, Ms. Sunshine, noticed what happened. She gathered the children and explained about personal space. She said, "Everyone has their own bubble of space around them, like a planet!"

Ms. Sunshine showed them how to use their hands to measure their space. She encouraged them to put their hands out, like a star, and see how much room they needed around them. Sammy thought this was a fun game.

Sammy practiced his space-keeping skills. He remembered to take a step back before reaching for a toy. When someone was reading, he watched from a distance. It made everyone happy.

Now, Sammy and his friends played happily together, respecting each other's space. They all knew that keeping hands to themselves and having personal space made playing even more fun. Sammy smiled, proud of being a good friend!
