The Sharing Timer at Sunny Meadow

In the bright and cozy Sunny Meadow classroom, Leo the Lion and his friends are busy playing with colorful blocks and puzzles. The room is filled with the happy sounds of laughter and the soft clack-clack of wooden toys hitting the floor.

Toby the Turtle sits on the soft green rug, slowly spinning the wheels of a shiny red fire truck. He loves the way the wheels go whirrr and focuses intently on the bright colors and smooth shapes.

Pip the Panda spots the fire truck from across the room and runs over, feeling very excited to play. He reaches out his paws, wanting to zoom the truck across the floor as fast as he can right away.

Both Pip and Toby hold onto the fire truck, neither wanting to let go as they tug back and forth. Pip pulls with a grunt, while Toby holds on tight, feeling overwhelmed and confused by the sudden movement.

The classroom atmosphere becomes tense as the two friends struggle over the single toy. Toby begins to retreat into his shell with a sad sigh, while Pip’s face turns cloudy with frustration and impatience.

Leo the Lion sees his friends struggling and walks over with a kind, calm smile on his face. Step, step, step, his soft paws make no sound as he approaches to help his friends find a solution.

Leo kneels down and says in a gentle voice, We need to share so everyone can have a turn to be happy. He explains that the fire truck is a special toy for everyone to enjoy if they work together.

Leo holds up a colorful sand timer and places it on the table where everyone can see it. Now, it is one minute for Toby's turn, and when the sand runs out, it will be Pip's turn, he explains clearly. Tick-tock, tick-tock.

When the last grain of sand drops, a soft bell goes ding and Toby happily pushes the truck over to Pip. Pip smiles wide and says thank you, realizing that waiting for his turn actually made the toy more fun to play with.

Now, all the friends are playing side-by-side in the sunshine, sharing their toys and creating wonderful new stories together. The classroom is full of joy because they learned that taking turns is the best way to keep the game going.
